The Melancholy of Me…Part 2

‘Tis a big window
that I sat at looking out
with a sad gaze.
I hear my heart-beat
loudly it resonate now
- emptiness prevailed.
Outside as dawn shines
warm lights azured the land; but
for me it’s still night.
How I yearned for you…

Hello Joe, Is this about a present situation or something from the past?
Hi Bobby, well, it’s just a little bit of the present, and a little bit of something from the past. But I am kinda feeling down at the moment.
Anyway, thanks for your concern. Really does brighten up my day a bit.
I write some really dark poetry myself. It’s how I release the feelings from my pained soul. I always have said that the only real poetry is about pain. Putting it in writing is good for you when you’re feeling down; you get it out of you and on the page, where it stays forever. Have a good weekend Joe:)
