Ashop Commerce - Shopping Cart & E-Commerce Software

ashopcommerce.jpgAs part of my work when doing a job for a customer is designing an e-commerce solution. I was searching for a good Shopping Cart Software when I came across Ashop Commerce’s ecommerce software.

Basically, a shopping cart act as the interface between a company’s Web site and its deeper infrastructure, allowing consumers to choose products; review their selections; make necessary modifications or additions; and finally, purchasing the product. As such, a good shopping cart software is very essential in any e-commerce undertaking.

What I like about Ashop Commerce is the fact that they have a fully-working 10-days free trial of their software. This let people like me test the software to see how well they fully integrate into my design. The product pages are typically HTML with a space for the product to be listed whereas the other pages (such as the checkout) are more versatile. And in this sense, this software is highly customizable for use with Dreamweaver, or other HTML editing programs.

To see that Ashop Commerce was the Winner for the 2006 Fuji Xerox My Business Awards in the The Engine Award for Best Technology in an SME category is very reassuring. So this means that this software is already proven to be working and accepted in the e-commerce community.

A very excellent review…did you do it through Smorty?

    hi jesse,

Thanks. and in answer to your question, yes, it’s from smorty. I was very surprised to get 2 job offers from the very beginning. There’s another site which I’ve registered with last week, and up till now I still haven’t received any offers. So, yeah, smorty is really wonderful.

I joined Smorty way back in June, my 1st two opps with them where Ashop and Smorth, which I finally got paid for on July 10th and only after having to contact them to find out when I was going to be paid.

There have been no further opps available there since that time.

As I’m new to smorty, I really don’t know what else to say about this. But I do hope that yours is an isolated case, It would be really sad if this was widespread as you can find smorty postings all over the blogosphere. Seems a lot of people have joined in the bandwagon.

Cool nicely written review, Joezul! I’ve got three in my dashboard. I think the new opportunities were sent directly in the e-mails coz I just received another 2 in my inbox.

    Emila,
so that mean you’ve gotten 5 already. That’s really great. :) I haven’t received any more offer yet.
Thanks for that nice compliment. It seems that smorty doesn’t agree with you. My 1st post has been approved, so that means I will get paid, but instead of my smorty score improving, it’d been reduced. I think I did something wrong with my review. I’m not sure what it is tho. I’ve snooped around a bit, but I’m still in the dark as to what I did wrong. So, with a low smorty score, I’m not sure I’ll see any new opps. coming my way soon. :(
