Wordpress 2.2.1 upgrade completed…and going cold turkey at the same time…
I’m missing my moe, and all I had to watch is some guy blabbing monotonously in a video conference… and I think I’m going cold turkey!
It’s been almost a week since I’d upgraded to Wordpress 2.2.1. Like all Wordpress upgrade, moving to 2.2.1 hasn’t exactly been a smooth transition. The most teething problem is that of incompatible plug-ins/widgets. Well, I’ve rectified everything now, by either upgrading or just plain deactivating all the problematic ones. And, since I’m at it, I also did a minor layout changes to my theme. I’d gotten a couple emails saying that the red fonts used in the previous layout made reading my blog intolerable, so I’ve decided to try a cool colour, reverting back to the original ice blue.
I haven’t been getting enough sleep for the whole of this past week. My wife is flying off to Nottingham in mid-October for her viva and, hopefully, her convocation at Notts U, so life is a bit hectic as wifey needed to submit the thesis at least a month before that, and I’m helping her by doing the little bits.
She’d been using up most of the bandwidth with all her video conferences, uploading and what-nots, so I haven’t been downloading any anime or manga for a few days now. Frankly, I think I’m having a withdrawal syndrome. Serve me right for being a moe addict! I really am going cold turkey, so bad that I’m thinking of doing a Kassim Selamat except that wifey is very particular how I uses the silverware. Sigh. Hmmm, maybe I should take the fork and stabbed it into wifey video conference supervisor’s eye instead….
* heard the ominous music from Psycho playing in the background*… err…I think I’m going to sleep now. …

Jeepers, get a grip, man! I realise you are suffering withdrawels, but thats no reason for such radical behaviour! I am sure you should just calm down, have a lay-lay, snuggle in bed, and for heavens sake, turn off that ominous Psycho music !!
P.S….And your site is looking great, I never saw it displaying badly in the last few days, from my end, it looks super-cool !
… and wordpress 2.2.2 has just been released. hehehehe. if ur too lazy may i suggest wp auto upgrade. read bout it in my blog
