After I’ve posted my Sunday Scribblings poem on the wee hour of Sunday morning, I went straight to bed. It’s being a Sunday, I had a leisurely lie-in till noon. So, in the afternoon, when I powered up the pc, the dsl modem just kept on blinking, and blinking, and blinking… Well, since this is Sunday, I’d thought that TMNet was having their usual congestion problems, so I just switched to dial-up to check my email. Ackkk, I could only managed to get 25 kbps on the dial-up line, which is almost impossible to do any work at all. I was waiting for hotmail to load up, when the connection suddenly went kaput.

Hmm…now, this is something fishy. TM’s dial-up services never gone down like this before… it usually is rock solid. Heck, they’re very astronomically priced, so of course their servers’s rock solid, well, probably even made of moonstone, for all I know. Heck, I’ll even hazard a guess they’re probably made by Fred Flinstone and Co. during the Jurassic Era, given their loooonnnnnggggggg time lag and prehistoric services. So yeah, they’re definitely rock solid!

So, my connection just died. I went to pick up the land-line phone, to call 100 (hey, it’s TM’s magic number lah…), and what do I found out, there’s no bloody f%*#&@! dial tone.

So now it’s ping pong time. Oh well, I won’t go into details on how my stint as a ping pong ball went, but suffice to say I did get a promise that a contractor guy will come to look into the problem first things on Monday morning.

So Monday morn, I get this call a fella who said his name was Nxxxx, saying he’ll be around in the evening, and he’ll give me a call after lunch to confirm things up. And after lunch turned out to be at 7pm, and at that, he only called to say that he couldn’t made it as it’s already dark and wanted to reschedule for Tuesday morn. But, as I’m not in the whole of Tuesday, I told him to come on Wednesday.

And so, to cut this story short, my dsl finally came on-line a few hours ago on a Wednesday evening.

And since I’m already am too low on moe juice, and am already am feeling like a cold turkey again, the first things I did, had to, was to go and pay Nagi, Louise and Claire a visit.

Here, I think I’ll just let Louise show you what my feeling toward TM is at the moment…
