Isn’t mortality our most powerful raison d’etre?
It’s a thought that most will surely shook with fright -
the thought of death itself!
We wound up so tight though it’s inevitable
death comes to us all.
We’ll never know whether we’ll go out with a roar
most will wish it is,
or barely with a whimper as most will do-
just don’t dwell on it.
When it all does ends only our deed remains
all the good and bad.
So shouldn’t we leave a happy memories to
those left behind
instead of just the lugubriousness
that comes after?
The days we lived and loved and laughed and cried
… please, cherish it all.

oh to live in anime land
that is the imaginary life I planned
something I truly understand
which is a life really so grand

that imaginary life I have in mind
is the thing that help me unwind
so maybe its not really something so refined
but to me it is the most wonderful kind

Well, for what that has happened to me during my MIA, that would have to wait for the next post. Now I’m just trying to get the site up and running again. regular reader (if there’s still any…. ) would notice that I’ve reverted back to my old black-grey layout. this is because the new (old now I guess… he he) greeen layout just refused to cooperate with the new Wordpress 2.5 engine. Also, I’ve missing some of my moe images, and for some reason that still eluded me, wp just won’t show them. Guess that’s my punishment for neglecting wp for so long ….

PS : Wifey just delivered a new baby…so definitely a new poem coming up…. soon….

My migraine came back
The head banging from all sides
I sat morosely.

Hmmm… what do I write now?

Well, certainly I’m not going to write about my headache….
I guess writing poetry is in my blood. So here’s a short poem of what it really meant to me:

I write to please all
My poetry is to me
A redolent literary note
Sharing my emotions now
silently as in a dream.

Poetry is like a mirror
The reflection shown there
Will always show the way…
A reflections of our true self
It will show true beauty
That lie deep within us,
The charm that allures
A complication told in simple manners
An art so subtle
A welcome to a heart of joy.
So please, savour the words
for poetry is simply
the tongue of man, and
the words of heaven.

P.S: I’ve just realised, I’d already written a poem on what poetry means to me. Hmmm, well, guess this one is Part 2.

A genie King, strong and proud, and scary too
A genie Princess, beautiful beyond description
Both came to me last night,
From the Land of Faraway, wearing pointy-toed shoes.

Now you may ask, what’s up with this two Genie
Out of nowhere, appearing in my bedroom in the middle of the night?
It seems they’ve escaped from their evil master
A person so evil, he’s such a Grouch and a Meany.

Flying away on their Magical Flying Carpet
They’ll come and visit everybody, to ward off all evil
Granting every wish, all hoi polloi
All this to put behind a past they wish to forget.

Now they’re on a quest to put rights to their past evil deeds
So let us all join in to ensure that they will succeed.

The mighty Genie King and the beautiful Genie Princess from the magical Land of Faraway have finally escaped the clutches of their Evil Master after being held captive for 1000 years! With the help of their trusty Genie Buddy, they are now flying away on their Magical Flying Carpet on a quest to redeem their souls for all the wicked deeds they were forced to do by the Evil Master!

Tonight, the two Genies have flown to your home and would like to safeguard it by giving you the Symbols of the Genies to ward off the Evil Master and his wicked ways! The genies are requesting you to put up their Genie Symbols and in return, you will be given one wish to do as you please! Remember, do not be greedy or unkind, evil or vengeful and be very careful with what you wish for! Once you have made your wish you can join the Magical Flying Carpet Ride!
